CoMo Aerial Arts offers class packages, private and semi-private lessons, and open studio time for our aerial students in Columbia, Missouri. The apparatuses that we offer include aerial fabric, aerial hoop, and aerial hammock used for conditioning and flexibility work. We are also available to travel to teach workshops at different studios! Please inquire by emailing us at if you're interested in having us travel to your studio for workshops!

Introduction to Aerial Fabrics: Ready to try aerial silks? Learn the foundations you need to begin an aerial practice. This class will get you started with correct shoulder positioning and body awareness, basic footlocks and poses, as well as basic climbs and supported inversions. No experience necessary. This class is offered Mondays 6:35-7:35 pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Wendy. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Fabric Skills Level 1: (Prerequiste: Intro to Aerial with test-out and instructor's consent) --- This class is geared towards students who have completed the foundational skills taught in Intro class. Classes are focused on proper technique, safety, and skill-building. New climbs, more advanced poses, sequencing, inversions, conditioning, and flexibility work are all components of this course. Variations of the skills are offered for each individual student, and the pace of the class will be dependent upon the progression of the attendees. This class is offered Mondays 5:30-6:30 pm,  Wednesdays 6:05-7:05 pm, Sundays 4:45-5:45 pm,  at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Wendy and Lacey. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Fabric Skills Level 2: (Prerequisite: Aerial Fabric Skills Level 2 test-out and instructor's consent) --- This class is a progression upon the previous aerial skills classes in which we will focus on becoming more dynamic in the air, endurance and sequencing, creative variations, musicality, conditioning, flexibility, and much more! These classes are offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:15-8:15 pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Hannah. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Conditioning and Training: (Prerequisite: Intro to Aerial and instructor's consent) --- This class will consist of 15-20 minutes of aerial based warm up and conditioning followed by aerial training time to practice the skills learned in Intro to Aerial Fabrics and Aerial Fabrics Levels 1 and 2. This class is offered Thursdays 6:35-7:35 pm, Sundays 4:45-5:45 pm at Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline; taught by Erin. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Hammock Conditioning & Sequencing:  (Prerequisite: Due to the advanced nature of this class, students are required to attend Aerial 101 and/or Aerial Yoga, and must receive approval from those instructors prior to enrolling) --- This class uses the aerial hammock for conditioning exercises and flexibility stretches. You will learn new poses and combine them for choreographed circus-style hammock flows.  Class is offered on Saturdays from 12-1 pm Wilson's Fitness on Rangeline and Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm at Wilson's Fitness on Forum; taught by Lacey and Haley. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Aerial Yoga --- Aerial yoga is a new type of yoga utilizing a fabric hammock as a tool to help students achieve traditional yoga poses and to increase difficulty in others. Increase overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating beauty. Hammock will be set at hip height. No experience necessary. Classes are offered multiple time throughout the week at both Wilson's Fitness on Forum and Rangeline. Class is offered Sundays 6-7 pm taught by Lacey. $15 drop-in for non-members, $7 for members.

Open Studio --- Take the opportunity to enhance your aerial skills in our self-directed open studio time. Come ready to work on skills learned in classes and workshops, condition, increase your flexibility, choreograph routines, and film yourself to find opportunities for improvement. Open Studio is for students who have received approval from an instructor. Held at Bur Oak Brewery on Saturdays when available, check the facebook page for more detail. $10 suggested donation to Como Aerial Arts.
